about my career
Lachezar “Lacho” Todorov is an international ballroom dance professional, coach, and studio leader with over 30 years of ballroom dance experience. He is a multiple-time Bulgarian National Cup winner, a USA National and World Pro-Am Champion, and a Dancing with the Stars champion.
In addition to his competitive achievements, Lacho has performed and choreographed across multiple seasons of Dancing with the Stars, music videos, theatre productions, films, and stage shows.
Originally from Bulgaria, Lacho has trained dancers who have gone on to become National, International, and World Champions. He specializes in developing both competitive and social dancers, combining high-level technique with a clear, supportive teaching style that helps students grow with confidence.
Now based in the Dallas–Fort Worth area, Lacho works with Pro-Am students, competitive couples, social dancers, wedding couples, and group classes across multiple ballroom styles. His lessons focus on strong fundamentals, musicality, partnership skills, and performance quality — always tailored to each student’s goals.
Whether preparing for competitions or dancing for the joy of it, students appreciate his professional approach, positive energy, and commitment to helping them reach their personal best.
